Charming 3-bedroom family home close to Richmond

Love it! Positive: I couldn't be happier with the 5 houses I stayed at during my second trip around the southern part of Great Britain! From now on, I've decided I will never book apartments or hotels for my travels in the UK again. The barbecue facilities at this London house are absolutely amazing. I made grilled eggplant, grilled zucchini, grilled steak, grilled lamb chops and grilled pork belly. I love this accommodation so much. Though I did a thorough deep clean when I checked in, including scrubbing the very dirty barbecue grill left by the previous guest (I don't get why they didn't just burn it off, it's such an easy step), the rest of the stay was really comfortable. And I especially loved the grilled steak I made here. Negative: There is no hair dryer provided in the house, so I suggest the host can add one. After all, it's low-cost and will bring great convenience to guests. One night during my stay, I didn't go to bed until 2 a.m., woke up at 4 a.m. and played with my phone for a while, then fell back asleep around 5:30 a.m. However, I woke up again at 5:50 a.m., and was completely kept awake by the roar of a plane at 6 sharp. After that, I lay in bed counting the aircraft, and found that there was one taking off or landing almost every minute — this airport truly lives up to its reputation as a major hub. I thought the flight frequency slowed down for a moment, but another one flew by just a minute and a half later. That said, I slept extremely well on all the other nights. None of my family members were disturbed by the noise except for my daughter, who woke up twice one night. I myself was only affected on that single day, and I've already made up my mind that I will definitely come back to stay here again in the future.

Bad communication and lack of understanding Positive: Shit Negative: Shit

Great Hosts and Property Positive: Host went out of their way for a last minute booking and were really accommodating. Negative: Nothing

Positive: It was across the road from a decent pub Negative: Beds weren't the best. Planes land every 15 minutes so bring ear plugs

Decent house for sleepover Positive: Nice and quiet neighborhood, short walking distance to pub and shops. Outdoor garden with bbq that you can use, fully equipped with appliances. Very nice central heating that we needed since nights were very cold. Beds were great, not king size but very comfortable. Negative: For sure it will need some love to make it exceptional. Lot of things are dated, some repainting and small fixes would help a lot. Bathroom should be cleaned more deeply to avoid negative feeling. Understand that this is old house but still... One towel per person for four day stay is not sufficient. For us was ok, more/less just for sleepover. Lot of noise from airplanes landing at Heathrow, not taking it as a negative since whole area suffers the same.
